Creator, Artist, Designer

Jillian Tomlinson of Wovenomad

The winds guide her across the vast lands of the Wild West.
From all that’s come before & what must still come forward,
she is artist as anthropologist, following ancient presence,
guided by the mystery of magic & our belonging to the land.

Foraged from the mountains, raised by the sea,
somewhere in the desert is where she longs to be…

Handwoven, Fine Art. Earthen Treasures to adorn the body, home, altar. From clothing, interior design, commissions & collections, all pieces are made with intention to remember & reclaim sacred ancestral lifeways. All materials are locally sourced of the highest quality possible. Since she was 7 years old she has wanted to be a fashion designer. This is the direction her new body of work will take, creating a handwoven, earth-based slow-fashion movement.

Jillian’s work is available in her online shop, through commission & in person at The Westerly in downtown Steamboat Springs, CO.

A wombyn who has traversed miles
deep within as well as without, across time & space.
Her art rooted with devoted respect for the Earth &
our Ancestors;
Freedom & living on a legacy of beauty & love.
Emerging with the tides & cycles, Jillian sees through to follow through what is transformative & life giving.
